Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. When asked the caller couldn t tell me the address of the company although eventually said it was Erskine House in Clydebank but she didn t know the street etc. I did ask how she found her way to work but the answer was that she walked! Apparently there was "funding available" and when asked who funded it she said "scrappage windows".

They claimed they were updating their work records and said I had been working in the industrial sector. "Nope". And that I ve worked with tools and machinery. "Nope". I told them they shouldn t have my number and she beat a hasty retreat.

I ve just had a call from this number. They said that as I had been involved in a road accident my case had been referred to them. As I had a car accident in the last week my insurance company had referred me to an injury claim solicitor (one who does a lot of advertising on TV) so I thought this was them until I was passed to a supervisor who then proceeded to say "I understand you have been involved in an accident in the last two years". Thinking this was strange I asked him which date my accident occurre

Automated voice said "This is Her Majesty's Customs and Revenue". I hung up reckoning it was a scam with the robotic posh voice. Also, its known as Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs for a start! Anyway, beware and best avoid.

This number rang three times today and a missed call from previous. No message left on missed call and when I answered the others there was a noise in the background like an office and then cut off.

Keep getting calls from this number but they do not leave a message. Telephoned them from my office number and its comes up as a voicemail from CR Assist? Who are they?

Direct Business Solutions (DBS). Called several times but don t seem to know about previous calls they have made. Perfectly polite but it s another sales call. Trying to get the best deal etc etc. Told them I wouldn t be using a broker once contract end with supplier but didn t stop them trying. Quite annoying. Have now blocked their number.
