As identified by others, text message received indicating my mobile No had been awarded a 4GB Multimedia Player and Headphones. Presume it s a scam!

This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.

I am a financial adviser and just received a call offering to reduce pension cost by an IFA firm in Doncaster. I cannot believe any IFA would look for new business in this way. DO NOT GET INTO A MEETING WITH THEM.
