They phone every three months or so but are quite happy to be told we don t need any wine right now and be given a date to phone again. Nothing aggressive about their sales pitch and every now and again you get a nice free gift or extra bottle. They are the same thing as Sunday Times Wine Club.

This number is from AO.COM (Appliances on Line) and is likley to be with regard to a recent purchase and/or expired warranty of an applicance such as a Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine etc. They will try to sell you an extened warranty etc

Call telling me my debit card had been used for £390 purchases and wanting to confirm authorisation.. Very clever scam depending on panic response. Watch for this one..

Just had this number call (Liverpool code, with non-geographical sub-code 808) - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will now be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. This explains the silent treatment from any real person (low-lifeform) at the other end. Let the phone ring until the other end gets fed up and ends the call, then dial 1471 and note down the number.
