I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.
I just received a call off this number I am on a pre payment deal of just over £60 a fortnight, payment was due today and I always pay online.... But for some reason this Indian guy was trying to put pressure on me to pay over the phone with card details saying I would occur extra charges, he was very intimidating and refused to give his name till I asked about 8 times then I couldn t understand what he was saying....
