I looked up the number and it appears to be a London number. Do these people not know where they are in the UK or are they calling from abroad?

This number, 01675 594730, claims to be a company called 'Motor Assist', they do not ring for long & don't leave a message but when you ring it back its a recorded message with a man with a Scottish accent - saying the usual 'leave your name & number, & one of our Agents will call you back'. 07835207109- I picked up phone said Hello twice, no sound so I said 'Is this another Scam call?' and in a sarcastic long drawn out voice she said, 'Gooood Bye' and put the phone down. ' '

01750 656978 called. Upon answering there was a male with a strong Scottish accent saying something and then hung up within five seconds. All I heard was "close that". Sounds like a marketing company of sorts.

When I called the number back (from 1471) no-one answered - There was a pre-recorded message saying "Invalid option - try again" so do not know who they are, but likley to be an "undesirable"

A very strong Caribbean accented gentleman calling on what appeared to be a poor quality Internet phone line. I could not understand where he said he was calling from or on behalf of what organisation. He launched into his script and seemed unfazed by me stating that the newspaper I read was the 'Mickey Mouse Weekly' and although chuckled did not question me further when I told him my age was 155. The 'interview' continued by me giving similarly stupid answers to some questions and refusing to answer others

This is a broker scam number (www.ubroker.com). They push you to invest into loosing trades persuading you to put more money just to "beat a correction". If you do invest 100USD, then be prepared to have a bad trade which would eventually require more than 10000USD to cover up. This broker is not regulated and has false claims all over his site. Man with Asian accent said he was from Microsoft and that I had a serious problem with my computer. Told him to write me a letter and send by post before putting the phone down. He called back three more times arguing with me, telling me to sit in front of my computer and follow his instructions.

I text the number back so I am presuming that will cost me loads. They called at 10.45 pm and woke me up, very annoying!!!
