PPI call claiming to be from Barclays bank, checked with Barclays and call did not come from then. Hung up when questions as to why they were phoning as registered with TPS. Have reported number.

called and after introduction they asked "can you hear me". All of that was a recorded message. This is quite clearly a scam, expect fraudsters to exploit your answers.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 20386834xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing - accident chasers, PPI, but also financial services. Just block it

Found this number at www.auto4you.co.uk, but more likely this is just some general call centre, also similar numbers called me recently, all the same range - 019426655xx. Blocking this one, nuisance for me. People did someone answer it?
