Lady called in and claimed to be Anna from Amazon webservices. She asked to get contact data from one of my colleagues (who doesn't have Amazon as customer) to schedule a meeting with her boss. As we are located in Germany and my colleague doesn't have business in UK or with Amazon as customer I asked about the topic of this meeting. She claimed to not know that. Didn't give her mail address either. I guess her to call from a headhunter agency in disguise

The usual PPI story. Have had countless calls over recent months. Even pressing 5 for next stage elicits a recorded message. Eventually line went dead.

Second call from this number. When I phoned 1471 to find out who it was I got the message "This number is not accepting incoming calls at present. Please try again later". Obviously a scam.

I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. Marketing agency calling on behalf of Amanda Cunliffe Solicitors. Not sure where they got my name, phone number, or details of an accident I had last year. They were pushing hard for me to submit an injury claim, even though I said the accident resulted in no injury.
Female caller, said she was calling about our BT account (we don't have one) then said it was because all lines are operated by Open Reach. Wanted to 'test the line' and see if we qualified for a discount. Finally said she was calling from One-Com. All very suspicious.
