Called the number back to be told by recorded message that I had been selected to win £250.00! Errrm No thanks!
SCAM. Very very noisy background. Sounded like Indian call centre with 100s of people nearby. During a pandemic!? Claimed to be BT Openreach checking service. Asked me how many lights flashing on box. I asked where lights would be. Vague response. He asked me to check back. My router doesn’t even have lights on back. Kept telling me to ‘switch off’. Switch what off!? Asked him to confirm customer name. He hung up.
I have been called by the above number for the last 4 days and I am getting rather annoyed as when I answer they cut me off. I work in a hospital and find this very frustrating...
