If you get a call from these jokers tell them they are nothing to do with Microsoft or their faults department. They are not removing malware, they are installing it! This is a call that comes from India, diverted through an unregistered number. Guess how they can do that? They work for one of the call centres in India that are used by a UK phone provider. Just had a call from these people. They offered to stop ALL nuisance calls for ever with a one off payment of just £79.99. I told him I needed time to think about it, he is ringing back at five. In the meantime I googled the number. Thanks everyone. I am ready with my answer.

They say they are calling from PC World and Curry's currently had 8 phone calls from them, sounds like a scam.

Got a text pretending from EE saying “ We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, please update your payment information via: https://EE.uk.myaccinf12.com/?e=3” It is obviously a scam as I’m not wit EE. DON’T click on the link !!! I have blocked the number.
Called me today, I never answer numbers I don t know. I then check the number on here. When they come up as unknown number I answer because numbers from work sometimes come up like this. Has now been added to my ever increasing BLOCKED CALL LIST.
