This was an unidentified call to our XD land line number, and was a pre-recorded call by a woman with a professional English accent, proffering PPI claim services. The message has been recorded on our security system, and compared to other pre-recorded calls from different numbers. The voice characteristics match. We have reported this to Ofcom, who issued a batch of numbers including this to a telecoms provider run by an Asian businessman in London. The company is known by various names, including Cheers,
