Have had 8 calls from this number today I answered it as had entered a Glastonbury competition but turns out I had an accident, when I asked for details was told they needed to verify it was me by me telling them! Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1916719xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, car accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Bunch of liars!! Called me supposedly on behalf of British Gas(!!?) and told me as my current supplier she could offer me a new fixed tariff. I am not with British Gas. When I called her a liar and said a couple of other things relating to her wasting my time whilst at work, she said "same to you" and a number of VERY unpleasant expletives before shouting down the line and hanging up. If only I could get my hands on these effing people........

Take note of the name of the person you spoke to and ask for everything discussed is put into an email. That s what I did. Good luck.
