Asian female called saying she was from the Electricity and Gas Service. I told her I never responded to unsolicited calls and rang off but she phoned ten minutes later. I did not answer it.

Answered this call as I run my own business. Said he was from Vodafone , knew my name and business name and was asking how I thought of them. As I have been having issues and was expecting a call anyway I told him straight. Then he said that O2 are better and I should move. I thought that was slightly strange as Vodafone would NEVER tell me to leave them for another company. Unsolicited accident call

An automated woman’s voice supposedly calling from BT saying that my internet would be terminated in 24 hours unless I change my IP address, whatever that is. Total scam as I am not even with BT and I have received this same message several times before from different telephone numbers.

The man who called addressed me by my correct first name and surname, and claimed he wanted to discuss the (fictitious) road accident I was supposedly involved in "recently." He hung up when pressed for specific details.

SCAM Stated he were from Sky Broadband and there was lots of attacks and issues on my broadband connection over the last few days and therefore I needed to sort it out with him without delay and he needed me to verify my security details to continue. I don't have Sky Broadband! Scam to get personal details.

Caller said he was from Sky (my ISP) and the call was about internet connection. There is no reason for Sky to call me from Birmingham, and certainly not with a long delay after I had answered the phone, and definitely not with a strong non-British accent.
