The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

I have had repeated call about 10 per day from the same number, 2 types of calls 1. as per above , that i owe money on credit cards 2. that the government has set up an scheme where they are freezing monthly interest payments on CC or store cards and if you have these cards you can just make a monthly payment to them instead . as i am a financial advisor i keep them talking for ages (appearing to be a bit non financial) after all it runs up their phone bill, then i wrap them in knots using my knowledge,

Whenever I answered the phone - which was annoying in itself, as I have a shop and was serving a valuable customer when the phone rang, I had to cut my conversation short and ran through to answer the phone, whenever I picked up the receiver, before I said anything, they hung up. BEAWARE! This is a genuine automated call from the Lloyds Banking group asking you to enter a four digit code to authorise online banking. eg. when setting up your mobile app or a new online payment. HOWEVER the scammers are very devious these days and can call you from genuine phone numbers. I know this because this has happened to me. Luckily I was suspicious and was not scammed.
