Had a call at approximately 11.10pm that sounded fraudulent. Have a close relative in hospital with a severe heart condition so have been waiting by the phone for urgent news of their status. We have never had a call of this nature on our landline or at this hour and due to the circumstances it has caused enormous and unnecessary distress. Overwhelmed as i write this.

I never answer my phone whilst at work unless I know who is calling I have blocked this number from my phone several times over the last few months but for some reason it keeps getting through!

Was recently called by this number (fifth or sixth time), missed actually answering them but my number is unlisted and covered by TPS, so I believe they're breaking the law...

Keep ringing and saying hello. But when I reply it s like they don t hear me and hang up!! 5 times they called today and did the same thing.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. This caller claimed he was phoning from by telephone provider offering a reduced package. I was suspicious and phoned the number for my provider who had no record on their syste...

Recorded message saying they were returning my call request and to press 1 if I was available to take the call. I hung up as I ve made no such request because I don t have any dealings with them.
