⚠️ Scam call ⚠️ Indian call centre scammers. They will claim to be calling from O2 (if you tell them you're not with O2, they'll change the story and say they're calling from your network provider/carphone warehouse/some other lie). They will try to solicit personal information and bank details from you. Hang up and block the number!

They are scammers pretending to be Virgin media. They claim that your internet box has been compromised because of suspect malware and then pretend that they want to compensate you by putting money into your bank account, but really they try and take money out of your account. They are Asians and the number emanates from Orpington Kent.

Called 6 times in past 2 days I finally answered as if I was an anti fraud hotline and they hung up on me

this is a SCAM, they call disguised as a debt collector via a mobile saying you owe money for a High Court Writ and they will call at a given time so its best you pay immediatley. Its a scam.

SCAM Wife was subject to the Post Office text scam and gave her credit card details and personal information by return. She cancelled the card immediately and was issued a new one. Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction

Scam!!! Indian woman saying she was from amazon accounts and someone has opened and charged £799 to an account in my name. When I said I don't have an amazon account she said it might be a bank account that they are trying to charge, when I asked who she was actually trying to speak to she didn't even know my name.???? poor attempt and poor English.
