This number rings my mobile every morning, never leaves a message, and there is no actual ring heard; it is only when I get a message from O2 that shows I have been called, but I cannot delete or stop this number from contacting me. What can I do

I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.

same scammy call My advice is to always do what I do with these scam type calls; 1. use your phone to make a recording of 1 second of silence. (keep this 1 second silence in your ringtone or media folder) 2.Save the recording and call it scamtone or something. 3. then enter the scammy number into your address book as ; scam1, scam2, scam 3 etc. Each one represents a different scammy number that you get over time. 4. finally, associate the 1 second of silence with each scammy number as a ringto

Called me at work, asked who they were, was told Pension Reduction Scheme , said I was writing that down, then she hung up. Also she had my name.

Because it s a fake number, ie made up by scammers.

This number has called my mobile 3 times today and i havent answered the calls but I have blocked the number.

0185837200 had loads of calls from this number so I answered it today as soon as you speak it goes dead why do they bother

A year since the last call from these clowns and they have started again.

Caller said she had been given my number as someone who have had a little car accident in the last 2 years!! Clearly phishing or insurance scam

Had a message on my company email account saying they had left me a Voicemail. Think this is SPAM message or VIRUS!!! Have just deleted it.

Call a person /persons I m assisting simply don t communicate by phone ignore, block , change number. Check if debt is enforceable if not don t pay it ,arrange repayment by letter if you wish or request they take you to court and then leave it until you hear from the court. They can ask for payment they cannot enforce it just change numbers bin letter . I believe this to be a nuisance call, My advise to others is If you have a answer machine leave a outgoing message to incoming callers saying that if this is a telemarketer or any unknown caller ringing, that this call is classed as harassment and an invasion of your privacy and that you will ignore their call". I monitor all my calls and if I don t recognize the number I just let the answer machine takeover, they never leave a message and since I have been doing this my unwanted calls have started to cease
