Called claiming he was chasing up an insurance claim, which happened to have been closed two years ago. Sadly for him, I'm not stupid enough to fall for it. Confirmed with my insurer that they had not contacted me and everything was closed. Scammer!
When I answered the call I said hello and the person on the the other end was clearly talking to someone in the office as he was saying about when he talk's to customers. I said hello AGAIN and then he hung up.

Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.
Rang several times, when I answer it just hangs up. Irritating. Judging by exchange number looks like a false alis to me. Probably from India.
