An innocuous text message "Where are you? I am waiting for you?" but from an unrecognised number and the fact that it has already been searched 124 times in the last 2 weeks make me suspect that this is some sort of SCAM.

Called this morning, did not have my details but claimed to be from Openreach. Wanted to discuss my internet connection - I don't have one with Openreach. Do not give these guys any information, you will probably regret it.

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. Probably a scam. Indian young male trying to present as being from a company I did not understand as pronounced by him. He became annoyed and started using a nasty tone and nasty words. Realising has no chances, he hung up the phone and, probably moved to another "customer".

Received a text message purportedly from Gov-UK requesting to apply for an energy support scheme by clicking the link. It's a scam! Phishing!

No one else seems to have searched for it (the other search with no review was still me). I'm not completely sure. But this number doesn't appear anywhere on Google (while other legit places' number appear with the source). It feels very untrustworthy. The call on itself was strange. A machine voice said that a letter was returned, and that legal actions will be implemented. It didn't explain why would the return of said letter would require legal actions nor the content of the letter. Very iffy.

Indian scam callers. I am covered in calls from these scammers in India although my number is on a donotcall list.

Received a call from 07520648939, claimed to be from a finance/stock market company- very strong foreign accent. Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Probably a scam and I have blocked the number now

Fraudulent message about coming in contact with someone with Covid 19. I clicked on the link, they provided and saw it looked like an NHS website. Then I went to click on the NHS logo (assuming it would take me to the homepage), however, it came up with a 404 code showing this page didn’t exist. This is a SCAM. It’s a fabricated message. Don’t fill out any details they ask for!
