This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8442880xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 19167199xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI refunds, accident chasers, insurance claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Answered twice today for the first time. They knew my name and were stating I had unclaimed ppi, not even true. I told them their information was not correct and hung up. 3 hours later a different operator called again and started going on with herself so had a go at her and asked to be taken off the register.....probably not going to happen but so annoying

many calls from this number, all purporting to be congratulating me on winning a prize, offering financial advice or money advice. every single call ended with harassment and abuse from them! I was polite and now have blocked the number. they use my land line and mobile phone. no idea how they got either as both are private numbers to my work place. nuisance calls isn t in it.
