Called me while I was abroad. I rejected the call. Assuming it was O2 trying to sell me a new telephone contract, like the previous people reported, then it s quite shocking to think I would have had to pay O2 for the dubious privilege of receiving an unsolicited telephone call from them offering to sell me something. :-(

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. Unsolicited call offering help with claiming compensation for industrial hearing loss. Claim to have information that I have worked in a noisy industry when that is not the case.

They called me and they said that they was calling from Microsoft Windows Security about a problem with my pc. I don t have any problem and I didn t ask any assistence. So I think it is a scam.

Very lazy scammer. Get a very casual message using whatever name you are using on gumtree telling you youre paypal account has been hacked and to log in to change your pass.Like any sort of financial service would be running their security through a mobile.What made it more amusing for me is if they bothered seeing the third line of the ads they got my number from theyd see in large letters NO PAYPAL

Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. You pick up, the automated call kicks in, leaving a message for someone who doesn t exist. In my case, they are always asking for someone called Mr Paul Roberts. I understand a lot of others have the calls asking for the same person, so clearly not an error but a deliberate ploy to get people to respond to the message by pressing "No. 1" on the keypad, which I understand leads to a prem

Friendly woman rang claiming to have talked to me before about solar panels, asked if I had any. Man rang next day offering some energy saving device. Rang back and accused me of being rude when I hung up on him.
