no dialog but background sounded like a call centre, annoying.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.
