I had a miss call and I rang back just music so I hung up as I was scared it could of been a scam to get my details.

Picked up the phone and an automated voice said "this is a message from....." there was a number but they said it so quickly I couldn t take it down. The message was "are you online for real?". No idea what it meant and I wasn t online at the time

I believe it is someone who called the wrong number. I got a caller on my mobile. I have my number for more than 10 years. I think she misdialled from her phone. She asked for Gemma. I just said there is no Gemma and she got the wrong number. I can't say if this is a trick or not.

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. Called me but when I answered the phone it was a recorded message. The message said something about 'if you do not wish to have calls, then call (so so and so so)'.

They asked for my husband who is at work, then they asked me if I was Mrs Belfield , I said yes and then they hung up.

I didn't recognise the number or even the area code so I didn't answer the call.

Calls then hangs-up after one answers. Tried to call them back & the call gets dropped- hushed voices heard in background!
