When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? "Industrial Workers Union" scam from Derby had been ringing me daily for around three weeks. Finally gave in to temptation and picked up. "We re totally legit" and "a government body" the man said. Basically boiled down to cold calling people on a tradesman database looking to get money out of past employers for supposed hearing loss. These people are the scum of the earth and the reason this country is going down the tubes. Get a real job before it s too late! Don t trust anyone that asks for more details

Not sure, but seemed to want all my ID details to confirm the refund I was to receive in couple of days, and was vague about who was calling, claimed to be some sort of Financial Authority. Number is Manchester area, and with all due respect to friends in Manchester, apart from Blackburn Lancashire, a call centre dialled call from Manchester rings more alarm bells than phone bells.

Fraud there was a guy pretending to be from 02 mobile company. I checked and nobody was calling me from there.
they pretended to be Virgin, saying that there is a problem with my equipment and internet and want me to download an app that controls your computer. There tell phone manner is strange as well as if you start questioning them they try to treat you like an idiot. they say stuff like; What are you worried about now? I know that is fake as the line cut off so I got straight on to Virgin and they said everything is okay with your account
