Someone keeps calling me from this number and they hang up. There is background noise but no-one speaks.

Said he was from Domestic and General asked for my name, and then said he could not hear me could I give it again which I did. I had cancelled a insurance with D & G and thought they were ring to make me change my name. He then asked for the first name of my address and post code, and again said he couldn t hear me and asked me to repeat it again. This is when I got suspicious and hung up. I rang D & G and they apparently do not keep a record of outgoing cals.

Keeps ringing me and getting on my nerves

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. THis company called me and said a member of my family had been involved in a car crash. I asked could this be my mum, who had driven me to work this morning and then gone home, but wouldn t give me more information, or even tell me if she was ok. Eventually they said that she hadn t been in an accident and it was a sales call. Disgusting.
