This is a PayPal SCAM claiming I had transferred money to Russia. I don’t even have a PayPal account!

Odd. It searches as an apparently legitimate IT company, but I got an automated message about overseas card transactions. Has their number been stolen?

SCAM this number claimed to be from my daughter. Saying my phone broke and calling from a friends phone and to ring this number.

0207 9245544 - this number is a scam!!! Called me twice, I didn't answer as didn't recognize the number. I then googled the number and it's some motability Volkswagen thing in London. I called them four times trying to find out why they called me - they are rude and refuse to tell me why they called me!!! Instead, they demanded my name and then started the sales pitch! I never contacted them and I'm not in London so have nothing to do with them! This is clearly a scam!!!

Appears to be a phishing call. I answered and an automated voice just said "goodbye" and the call ended. This typically is an attempt to have you call the number back for any number of reasons, typically non of which are good.

These are indian individuals making scam calls presenting them as phone companies and scam you.

Text pretending to be o2 saying my payment to o2 was invalid and to log into attached website to change payment. Checked my bank and payment was going through normally, didn’t log onto website obviously!

This is a scam. Pretending to be from your bank and talking about problems with your debit card and asking you to press 1 for more information.

Called me to try to arrange a home visit for safety system to connect to emergency services for only £1. Rang off immediately when I asked who was organising it.

I think this is a spoof number as it is a not in service number and does not leave a message on answer machine. This number cannot be contacted.

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. A 'heads-up' for yet another scam. Today so far we have had three calls on our land line, apparently from "banking security", an electronic type message as such, saying we have pending a £300 payment to Amazon and a £1100 international funds transfer, press 1 to pay or press 2 to cancel.

SCAM called about washing machine insurance not the company we are with told him and he hung up. Called back the number to hear "thankyou for callng its ok an agent will be with you shortly" rang 3 times and hung up
