This is the latest number using the old con about your IP address being compromised and will be cut off in 24 hours. The message was in an American accent, for fun I pressed 1 and was put through to an Indian call centre. I could hear lots of voices in the background. Unfortunately the line went dead before I could wind them up. The number is now barred!

Someone claiming to be from O2 but I don t believe him because he acted like a weirdo -asking me if I was over 18, and when I said I don t have the time to talk to you, he said - so you re under 18 then, and hung up on me. Perhaps they are scouting for 18 year olds? (Weird) Perhaps they are mad. Perhaps they are scammers. But they are definitely not polite or professional so I doubt O2 would have such representatives. They ring at least 3 times a day regarding ppi. Pressing 5 DOES NOT remove you from their list. Nor does pressing 9 and speaking to the knobber who answers because as soon as you try to explain that you don t want them to keep calling they hang up on you. Reporting them now every single time they harrass me.
