An Asian man rang to inform me that he was ringing from BT and that my internet had been compromised and would be switched off immediately, I asked where this information had come from and he stated he was a BT technical support officer. When I asked what

SCAM - received a text from this number saying it was from British Gas and to reply with meter readings. Called the number and the recorded message said that the number wasn’t recognised. BEWARE!!!

Man with Asian accent said he was from Microsoft and that I had a serious problem with my computer. Told him to write me a letter and send by post before putting the phone down. He called back three more times arguing with me, telling me to sit in front of my computer and follow his instructions.

A very strong Caribbean accented gentleman calling on what appeared to be a poor quality Internet phone line. I could not understand where he said he was calling from or on behalf of what organisation. He launched into his script and seemed unfazed by me stating that the newspaper I read was the 'Mickey Mouse Weekly' and although chuckled did not question me further when I told him my age was 155. The 'interview' continued by me giving similarly stupid answers to some questions and refusing to answer others

This is a broker scam number (www.ubroker.com). They push you to invest into loosing trades persuading you to put more money just to "beat a correction". If you do invest 100USD, then be prepared to have a bad trade which would eventually require more than 10000USD to cover up. This broker is not regulated and has false claims all over his site.
