Supposedly a company called Direct Legal, claimed to want to talk to me about compensation for an accident. A quick google search reveals they are a debt collection agency based in Buckley, even though the phone number has a Glasgow area code.

This company called me today - Thursday 20th July 2017. It s some automated robotic voice system, asking whever I ve been involved in a car accident recently. I repeatedly asked who is this and the call was aventually disconnected.

my relocation agent tamara always rings me i have only ever rang them twice and managed to get through to somebody she got me a new flat in about 6 days which is a quick time because i am on housing benefit and don t work yet so i am really grateful they helped me so quickly never had any problems at all with them and would use them again if i have to move every again

This is Clearanswer call centre Hull, orange have an external contract with them so realisticly they are working on behalf of orange. Its not a scam the promotions are genuine. Basically they do work for orange to help them out. I believe they also have a contract with Talk Talk. They ask if you have a mobile as you could change it at anytime. If you receive a cold call from an organisation you don t know, just take as many details as you can, even if it s just the number and time of call and report it the Information Commissioner s Office (ICO) via this link https://ico.org.uk/concerns/ If enough people do this these companies will be fined - sometime pushing them out of business - and we can all enjoy owning a private phone again.
