SCAM I was out when this number called. They did not leave a message on my answer phone but the number was recorded on my incoming call information system. Using a recall system it was found the number had become non-existent and was therefore no longer traceable. This would indicate that it is from a SCAM telephone number/company. Thery obviously think folk are stupid enough to respond by pressing button 2 - which only atkes you to a premium rate line from which the scammers make money. Five star bad.

SCAM Told me it was the royal mail and they wanted to send me an invoice for £1.55 for a packet with no postage. I asked how they got my number and they said the delivery office gave it to them. The supposed packet was in London and I am in Somerset. I called her bluff and said the delivery office did not have my number and she then hung up. They did not have an English accent.

Some clown demanding to speak to an IT manager. Gave the name of someone who doesn't even work here ! Turned out he couldn't even phone the correct company. As if any sensible organization would pick up the phone to complete strangers enquiring about their IT systems ! Almost certainly some kind of scam. Number blocked.

Hi, just had a call from an Asian bloke who said my Internet connection had wires crossed in my house and its causing a network problem. He claimed to be BT. I didn't tell him that BT don't run the network it's Open Reach. Also didn't tell him I'm not a BT customer. I ended the call.
