Claims to be in reference to an accident that I had within the last three years. I told him that I hadn't had one and he asked if perhaps I'd had one as a passenger. When I told him again that I hadn't had any accidents and that I thought it was a scam call, he hung up.
SCAM! I was called from this number for the second time in 18 days. This time, however, I was out and missed the call. I recommend you have nothing to do with them and tell them nothing. It's almost certainly a scam!

SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. SCAM The caller was a recorded message suggesting they were from a Londoon Magistrate and stated that if I choose to ignore this information then my National Insurance number will be blocked and stop working. After another threat they told me to press 1 to speak to the officer in charge of the case. At which point I hung up.
I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not. SCAM - Claims to be a legitimate Loan company. Some how have my details emailed 'undisclosed recipients' and then CC in my email. I called the number back the other day to receive abuse calling me an f**cking b*tch etc because I asked them to stop calling me.
SCAM ambulance chasers that don't even know if there's been an ambulance! Get a call from them every few days, consistent script: "We're calling from the Legal Department of MAUK" (there is a website for mauk.uk but no listing in Companies House, and the directory for the building in Reading they claim to be in doesn't include any such entity). I keep reporting the calls to ICO and TPS. You'd think the imbeciles would give up - it's been going on for years.
