I ve been receiving daily calls from this number for the last 1.5 months, I tried answering at first, asking them to remove me from their database. Then I got calls with no message/answer at the other end. In the end I blocked them using my mobile phone block service, however in the last week, I ve received a number of "private number" calls, which I happen to have missed - but when checking last night noticed that they ve all come either at the same time or 1 minute later than a blocked call from 01942

SCAM Must be a scam this number randomly called me today. Automated voice saying it was HM revenue & customs claiming that there was a fraud case in my name that I needed to press 1 to speak to the officer on the case. That if I didn't sort it then I'd be arrested shortly. Load of bollacks if you ask me didn't bother pressing 1 & hung up straight away soon as the automated voice got out what it was obviously programmed to say. Probably would have tried to get some sort of financial detail

Asked for me by name. I asked who was calling. He said it was in response to my putting my name down for more information and asked me what kind of investing I was looking to do. Claimed to be from Sky, I don't have sky so I spent a lot of time asking if they were going to supply me with Sky so that I could take advantage of their services & I insisted that it had to be supplied free. The oriental sounding lady really didn't get it. Eventually she asked if I had Sky & I replied that since she was from Sky I must have or she wouldn't be calling, but just now I couldn't remember what I'd done with it. She gave up.

When I answered the call a man said he was calling from a security company which installed alarms etc - I said I was not interested and he said ok and I switched off phone. It was to my mobile number which I have only given to friends and family - cannot understand how I am now getting calls on this phone mainly from phones which appear to be in the North of England. Lots of times no-one answers but equally I do not answer most of them as presume they are scams
