I got a call to say that I was on a database as I had had an accident in the last few years, this is untrue and when I corrected them, it became ' anyone in your household?...

Call received from this number - on answering there was silence. After waiting a few moments heard ringing again so hung up in case I was being charged for the call. Have now blocked this caller

Caller asked for the home owner and said it was not a sales call. the company did have our surname but did not ask to speak to Mr or Mrs......... When I asked how they got our number (ex-directory) they just put the phone down.

Called both my mobile and my landline - both numbers have voicemail facility, but no message left on either! If it s important enough to call, they should leave a message. I recently received a call from this number about an annual service booking; the woman at the other end knew my name but wanted me to confirm my address and postcode, which I did. I agreed to a suggested date and time, and she tells me that I will be getting a call on the day to confirm.
