He apologised & hung up. Very amiable, & I was polite too :) Only use my landline for emergencies so any call to it arouses my suspicions!

Further communication has netted me "a freelance role, £30-£40p/hr, flexible working time 60 -120 mins a day" and would like me to speak on Telegram and then WhatsApp for more information. No company website or recruitment page links available.

Normally they call me from different Aberdeen Numbers, so now they're trying to catch me out by phoning me from Dumfries. I reported HSBC to make a new debit card as I doubted my card's details were hacked last week. And a woman just rang me from HSBC by like Indian accent. I doubted HSBC wouldn't ring me like that. I told her to e-mail me and I hung up, and I blocked the number of 0345-600-8050, and I checked the number on this site. I already got a new debit card recently. Why did the genuine HSBC want to ring me now?
