TAXES / HMRC scam. Robo caller claiming that I'm the subject to tax evasion investigations and a warrant has been issued for my arrest. Pressed a number to speak to someone with a heavy indian accent called Alfred Collins who was a tax investigator for HMRC. I laughed in his ear and hung up.
DO NOT ANSWER - it is another ASIAN SCAM; they want personal details, bank card, Sky a/c and DD details, all under the guise of a survey. Very dangerous

Caller asked for someone else who lives in the house by name - after teh ususal telemarketing pause of silence..... When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? I'm unsure about this number - people claiming it to be Amazon Prime, Specsavers, electricity and Welsh Water amongst others. But it could be Welsh Water as we had a call from this number this morning (it was blocked by CallGuardian) and our water has been cut off due to a burst watermain. The companies should make it clear on their own website what numbers they call you from so you can tell if they're genuine or not.

Unknown caller. when dialed there is an exchange message "The number you have dialed has not been recognised. Please check and try again." This seems to be occurring more frequently. It is now possible to make calls from another number look as though the call is coming from somewhere totally different, for example a call made from a Glasgow number can seem to come from London. Be wary. This experience happens on calls from 01506 674749 to 01506 674752 inclusive.
