My work phone was called by this number, and got a recorded message, ostensibly from my bank, saying the two large transactions, one of which was to Amazon for £999 had been blocked, and said that I had a choice to either release the transactions or speak to a representative. I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Romance Scammer. Masquerades as living in Edinburgh and working in a clothing shop. It is the person in the photo, but they are not in the UK. If you do not believe me, ask them during a video call to show the weather outside and watch em try to avoid it Wasn't stupid enough to fall for it so unsure of the end game but likely some form of sextortion scam as they were hoping to move the conversation to Telegram and such scams are common there Stay safe :)

Unsure wat type of call this was - I answered and there was no response, went dead 3 seconds later. Tried calling back, number is dead. Data gathering scam is my suspicion as I was duped into subscribing to something last week and I've had a million spam emails since.
Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.
