Called me today (28 April). "David" gave me the usual spiel about 'they have been receiving messages for the last two weeks from my computer that it is infected' (or somesuch). I gave them my usual reply about having to talk to my IT consultant, and could they give me a number to ring back. (At this point he rang off, as these jokers usually do.) Given collective knowledge about these people I have no hesitation in marking it 'dangerous'

Wanted me to tell them what key was next to the ctrl key on my keyboard, probably wanted to either gain access to my computer via the 'remote helper' or by some other illegal scam they have devised. Indian accent but the number is, according the the internet, from Birmingham. Scammers as far as I am concerned so told her, I was ending the call.
