This is an international call from another country, First Class Spam.
Claimed to be from UCompare in Cheshire but the call was from a number in South Wales. Refused to give me their address when asked. Scam caller offering insurance.
SCAM this phone number 02082679030 called me making out the are from virgin media saying my internet is not secure and they said there were other people logged on with me and they were going to show me how my internet was not secure but it is a scam because they would want to log onto my computer but I'm using windows 10 which doesn't allow for other people to log onto my computer so beware that this number is a scam.

SCAM / SPAM Scam caller pretending to be from Openreach saying the broadband line had been accessed and was being used by criminals.
Recorded announcement with american accent saying something about "this call is coming to you" so hung up as I've had this one before from another number reported here. Why would you get a real recorded announcement from a mobile number???

Received several calls from this number despite being registered with TPS. They continued to call me back wanting me to do a lifestyles survey, asking for personal information and saying they could save me from receiving unwanted calls. Oh the irony! this number text me saying this is their new number and had lost contacts. They asked so send numbers of people we both knew. I stupidly thought it was my aunt Sue, and sent my mum, cousin and Nan s numbers. This is a number in Swansea used by TUI. I d called their usual Customer Service number regarding special assistance and this was the number they called me back on. Totally genuine.

Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.

Call(s) to my 93 year old mum who lives alone. She has 3 calls that she made to that number- said ?National? on phone bill - one of the calls lasted almost 15 minutes. She doesn?t remember them at all unfortunately so don?t know the reason for calls.
