I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. SCAM, Whalley area UK, Automated, asked me to call manager at Amazon, they are going to deduct monies from my account.
this was a recorded message purporting to be from HMRC. It stated that a letter had been returned to them and they were going to commence legal action. It asked me to press 1 to speak to an advisor. I hung up!
