Called me in Portugal saying I had shown interest in their Swiss finance company. I asked where they got my number they said I had given it to them. I said I had not and they got cross with me saying where did they get the number from then?

Called asking for someone else by name. Told them they had the wrong number and I obviously didn’t sound like a woman (who they asked for). Asked who they were speaking to. Told them it was no concern of theirs who I was, but I am not the person they were after and I didn’t know anyone of that name. I have received phone calls from this number a few times so I called to tell them to stop calling. The call went to the answering machine message "your call is very important to us, please stay on the line and wait for the next available agent" - no mention of company name (always a rubbish sign), I waited 5 minutes and they disconnected.

I received a WhatsApp message from this number apparently A&A recruitment limited Birmingham asking if full-time or part-time employment suited me. I live in Northern Ireland and have not signed up for any recruitment. Don't know if it's spam or trying to get personal information to scam/rip off people but I would be cautious.

I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
