Rang regarding supposed barclaycard from before 2010 and only knew my 1st name! Became aggressive and annoyed. When questioned how he got my number he slammed his phone down!

Missed call I didn't pick up. Map here shows somewhere near Waverley Station (edinburgh) but no idea who that would be.

Repeatedly receiving silent calls from this number, despite being ex-directory and on the TPS.

Rang off when answered. Don't know anyone in Glasgow so probably phishing call.

Call went through to answering machine. Rang off part way through message.

Recorded message,claiming a withdrawal had been made from my debit card.I do not have the card mentioned so I guess it was just a fishing trip to steal my money.

Caller is claims handling company - calling with incorrect data about person being called and ignores TPS / CTPS status of person being called.

People working in a call centre for the government campagain called national shielding helpline to help the extremely vulnerable during the pandemic. NOT A SCAM - just helping

Answered this random call to my mobile, automated message saying that a charge had been made against my name from the inland revenue. Ridiculous, I called back to challenge them. A foreign man answered saying HMRC can I help you? I asked why they called me, he asked if he could have my name. I said no. He said You had better get ready to be arrested, Ms ....... (using my name, which I hadn t given), then hung up. Vile scum.

Said they were Windows technical department. Told them I don’t have a computer. They hung up.

I keep an eye on my credit rating and am debt free. I have received unsolicited calls and texts. Called the number in the texts and asked to call this one - which I didnt. I have not given my name or address to anyone. I find this very fishy. They are a debt collection agency, so have the ability to access my address. After seeking advise, I will wait for them to send me some mail, addressed to me that outlines the reason for their communication.

80 year old mother sold ??? No idea what, thought it was for boiler maintenance even though she already has this service with a legitimate company. gave card details but by time she cancelled her card at bank £199.99 had been debited. Bank has said the name of company taking the money was called smart service.
