SCAM / SPAM Called with recorded message "Illegal activity found on your internet account and you will be disconnected in 24 hours. Press 1 to speak to one of our engineers". Under no circumstances should you press 1. Just hang up and/or add to your block list.
Automated call allegedly from the NCA claiming my NI number was used for illegal activity and it is now suspended. The message then asks to press 1 to speak to a case officer to prevent my assets being seized, etc.
Answered and there appear to be an automated message, which was in Mandarin Chinese. Very bizarre. I ended the call after a few seconds.
Left voice mail claiming to be HMRC and that there was a warrant for my arrest unless I pressed 1 for a call back

There must be something dodgy in the water (above the norm) in Carmarthen, almost every harassment call I get is from one of these amoral desperate little Welshies who think they are above the law. After the latest developments on this issue, I look forward to the day that they ll have to build a new prison in the town to house them all. Probably easier just to fence the place in as is.
There seem to be many unknown callers. They tend to stop after six rings, so we simply let them stop without picking up. Annoying, all the same.
