Supposedly a call from Virgin Media. When I wouldn’t do what the woman asked she said my broadband would be cut off. Scam

This number keeps calling my elderly mother pretending its about a loan she had. They keep providing her with info like date of birth, asking her to confirm expecting her to provide the correct one. When I ring this number it says it is an old number. My 11 year old was with her when they last called and he said they were very pushy and kept asking her to confirm bank details.

Received a call from this number to my mobile. Didn't answer as I didn't recognise it. They did not leave a message.

Received a call from this number today, and also had a missed call for the last 3 days. Once connected it has a few seconds of silence, a nice clear sign its unsolicited but I thought I d wait and see who they were. Bloke on the other end told me he is from ICS and they got my number from third party who advised there is an unclaimed category C claim against my household (despite it being a call on my mobile). Got called at the beginning of a lecture, didn t know the number and quickly declined before looking it up. Seems O2 isn t 100% scammer-free, but it s a whole lot better than Vodafone.

Keep getting calls from this number but when answered there s a huge pause. had plenty of similar calls in the past like this which are scam calls usually about an accident so reporting them as am TPS registered so no one should be calling
