I have had umpteen calls from this number and finally got an answer when I picked up. This caller said they were selling Solar panels.

Three calls today , first checked my name then hung up , second just hung up and last one said hello then hung up !

The representative of a bank, but not my bank wanted to advise me. He also went simply from the fact that I am with the said bank. I will not mention the name because I think that the man does not really work for the bank. It all sounded very much like sales pitch.

I am ex directory this company frequenty calls my number and are abusiv, rude, and insolent.

This number called me after I had placed a request for a tradesperson to do some work for me. His accent sounded very artificial as if it wasn’t his normal accent. He may have been genuine but I don’t think he was. It is showing as a number from Russia and I live in the UK. He said he would come this evening to look at the work that need to be done. He would not take any details about where I live but wanted me to text them to him. I have read that 0738 is associated with scam calls so did not text.

Rang today and listed a stream of debts I DON T have. Hung up on me when I pointed out I have no debts. Thick Indian accent, didn t ask any security questions and also failed to tell me the name of the company twice - he got confused both times so god knows where he was meant to be calling from. Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

Per shouldialanswer I get the same stuff i.e. probably robot calling with no answer. Not trustworthy

Said was from BT - problem with my internet

told them to speak up as I was deaf from working in a noisy environment, also I had just been in an accident which was no fault of my own and the only insurance I had was payment protection. they did not answer
