Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. I do not know anyone or work with any business in Liverpool and the caller left no message so I am assuming tele-marketing or a scam. Either way it’s unwelcome and number now blocked.

SCAM this phone number 02082679030 called me making out the are from virgin media saying my internet is not secure and they said there were other people logged on with me and they were going to show me how my internet was not secure but it is a scam because they would want to log onto my computer but I'm using windows 10 which doesn't allow for other people to log onto my computer so beware that this number is a scam.

IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass.
