I received a text message (on my mobile) apparently from TalkTalk confirming the date for an engineers visit. As I hadn't booked a call, I rang from a withheld number to cancel the booking. I was kept hanging on the phone by the operator who told me my account had been locked by the previous operator and she couldn't access the details. I'm getting constant spam calls and email from these people. Told them to stop, they have not done. Never subscribed to them, and there is no unsubscribe button. Company has no respect for anyone. Clearly have no clue about UK GDPR law - Under Article 17 of the UK GDPR individuals have the right to have personal data erased.
