First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. Very aggressive phishing call from Indian subcontinent. Phoned 6 or 7 times in one afternoon and very threatening, leaving messages about calling everyday.

Unknown number & I don’t answer unknown numbers, nor do I answer from numbers not in my contacts… Can find no information on this number so will have assume a call centre/telemarketing based in Manchester, I don’t know anybody in Manchester either….

Just got my first one from this number this morning. Before I had chance to open they hung up. Glad I found some info before thinking about ringing them back. I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)

It seems to be all sorts of scams, according to reports on other sites - bank account overdraft or debts, deliveries, etc. The variety would suggest it s a prank caller.

This number called me but I rejected the call and they did not leave an answe phone message. If it was important they'd leave a message.

Be wiser insurance wont take no for an answer ring 5-6 times a day

Silence when I answered and hung up after 9 seconds. A recorded message of an American woman saying the number is not in service when I called back and automatically hung up on me.

22 Nov 2021 - Called claiming they were from Carphone Warehouse. Asked to speak to their manager and they said they were busy in a meeting and would remove me from their database. Definitely spam avoid at all costs. Reply

Some called offering to get rid of cold call, automated calls basically every type of call you don t want. For a small fee of ?1.90 per month, they would provide a box to stop the calls. Is it me or shouldn t BT be doing this for free
