Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036349xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, claims of all kinds. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? Message said 'you have been called by synergy consumer club - press 1 to talk to an advisor or press 2 for your number to be removed' it then hung up. I've naturally opted out so will wait and see what happens. Doubt it would work if I had witheld my number so I allowed my number to be visible.

When asked why it was a Manchester number on caller identifier he stated that it really was London (!) but I could call 08000969345 to verify who he was. Googled that number but that turned out to be a taxi firm in Manchester. Really.... how stupid do they think we are?

I was very sceptical when I had a text message and then an answer phone message was left with a 3 digit number, Unfortunately my scepticism got the better of me and I ignored and deleted the text and the answer phone, I am now needing to go into Lloyds bank to remove a block on my account lol, But I am glad I was sceptical and rang the bank via fraud line number, just I needed the 3 digit number on answer phone message to unblock account My recommendation to anyone who suspects fraudulent phishing
