Fraud Spoofed Caller Line ID (CLI) by a company called Buy It Direct Ltd. Registered number 04171412. Registered office: Unit A Trident Business Park, Leeds Road, Huddersfield, England. Suspected reason for spoofing their number is they leave you a message (probably regarding a purchase you made) and want you to call back. Automated call saying from bank. Suspicious activity on bank card/credit card. Checked online and does say fraud team do automated calls but then will phone or text you… I just don’t press any buttons on phone as you never no.. phoned fraud line to check.. guess what it wasn’t them.

This was an automated call about a charge for Amazon Prime membership that had expired. I don't currently have an Amazon Prime membership, so this was almost certainly a scam call.

Rings in morning 1 ring hangs up. Its a bot to make people think they missed a call so you call back to get scammed.
Rec'd a scam text from apple pay about needing to accept updated T&C. Apple do not communicate via text, the text had a clickable link, and I don't have apple pay anyway, so the scammer was never going to fool me!

Call center / SCAM Initially received a strange call supposedly from a call centre in Laos saying they were calling on behalf of Accenture Recruitment UK. I was then contacted by this number via WhatsApp & they have been relentlessly trying to get me join a part time job opportunity to make extra income with very little effort for a company called 'Dynatrace' even though I have repeatedly said that I am not interested. Finally blocked & will be reporting the number.

Automated call, said failure to respond would result in charges against me, gave me a case number, seemed to be to do with national insurance, wanted me to press one. I hung up.

Second at 12:24hrs, identical number, didn't leave a message. We seem to be getting more scam calls than calls of any meaning. Maybe we should discontinue the landline?
