I got a text message from Halifax saying a Mr Abdul Khan has successfully set up as a new payee on 2/05 if this was not you please call us on 01143600424 ref ST20F07 it’s a scam I phoned my bank immediately they have put a note on my account as a safety measure …Do Not ring phone your bank hope that helps .

Call today supposed to be from BT telling me my IP address was public and hey would make it private. 2 men in what sounded like a room full of people spoke to me. I sked where the were calling from and they gave me an actual BT address in London. I asked the guy if he was Indian and yes he was. I told him the 1st person I spoke with was India too. I asked him if this was a scam. I then heard someone say drop the connection. So looks like a scam to me.

Call was a recorded message saying that I had 2 transactions off £750 off my Credit card this morning if this was not you press 1. I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They would use land line to ring from. Plus an email or text.

Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.

Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

When teh caller was challenged it was responded to by a possible African accented woman stating "I am your mother bitch!". The caller attempted to call again some minutes later. The call was not answered.
