I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. And yet, an internet search suggests that this number is regularly used as part of a scam. The Barclays operator need to wake up and start offering better advice than "don't worry, it's a Barcla

Illusive questioning - asking about a "bump and or scratch" raised when I renewed my insurance policy. When I asked what car I was driving they said they worked alongside my insurer. Then I questioned who my insurer was, they said they were not at liberty to disclose that information over the phone. - never once had an accident.

Daily calls despite repeated requests to be removed from their system.
